Sometimes when this happens, clicking cancel and then unchecking or checking use secure connection (port 443 vs port 80) to the connection server is a workaround and the desktop will say "available" and be a new desktop, but again there is no pattern to this, sometimes 80 works sometimes 443 works, sometimes both "steal". When you enable multiple sessions per user, the broker allocates the desktop on the basis of the identity of where that user is logging in from, and if the same location is seen then it will look to see if a desktop has already been allocated for that client location and look to re-use it.
#VMWARE HORIZON CLIENT BROKER SESSION TIMED OUT UPGRADE#
We've tried both view client 4.6 (comes standard on these Thin clients) and an upgrade to view client 5. We are using view connection server 5 with hp 5565 thin clients, some are zero clients some aren't (5565z and 5565). We've seen this in two different pools that we are testing. Of note here is that the username is the same for all users, it's the only account entitled to the pool. I'm still trying to figure out exactly when this happens (no solid pattern yet). The user who had this session will be kicked out. Place orders quickly and easily View orders and track your shipping status Create and access a list of your products Manage your Dell EMC sites, products, and product-level contacts using Company Administration. If they continue and double click on this desktop to connect, it will grab a session already in use. The user enters credentials as usual and authenticates, when they see the desktop to connect to/click on, instead of saying "available" it will say "logged on". The exported columns can also be customized and the application will export data from both the live and the historical tables in the View Events Database.

The application allows for extremely granular export of data. Never: disconnected sessions on this machine. Disconnect Session Time Limit (VDI) Specifies the amount of time after which a disconnected desktop session will automatically log off. At somepoint the broker will start trying to pass off desktops that are already in use. You can filter on time range, event severity, event source, session type (application or desktop), usernames and event types. In the VMware View Agent Configuration > Agent Configuration folder in the Group Policy Management Editor, enable these settings: Setting. For more details, see Configuring Sites in Universal Broker. When you change a Horizon pod on a VMware SDDC-based platform from monitored to managed state, you are prompted to associate the pod with a new or existing site. There is also a DEM policy implemented in DEM 9.11 named 'Idle time until disconnect' that may be of some help. You can use the Sites tab on the Capacity page to configure sites for Universal Broker. Desktops start being given out fine as users log in. What version of Horizon are you on The 'Idle Time Until Disconnect (VDI)' agent policy setting was implemented I think in 7.10. Having an issue with non persistent pools.
